SontarahLife Family Crisis Center was founded in 2009 with the mission of strengthening individuals, families, and communities through education, crisis prevention, and professional training.
Our organization provides programs that help caregivers, parents, behavioral health providers, and community members develop the skills necessary to respond to challenging situations with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
Through evidence-based training and practical education, SontarahLife equips individuals with the tools needed to create safer environments at home, in the workplace, and within the community.
To empower individuals, families, and professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent crises, strengthen relationships, and create safer communities.
To build stronger communities where families, caregivers, and professionals are equipped with the tools needed to respond to life’s challenges with confidence, compassion, and understanding.

Michael Freeman was the founder of SontarahLife Family Crisis Center, established in 2003 with a vision to support families, caregivers, and communities through education, guidance, and crisis intervention. His passion for helping others was rooted in his belief that individuals could overcome life’s challenges by changing their perspective and understanding their purpose.
Mr. Freeman was also an accomplished motivational speaker and educator, teaching a variety of subjects focused on strengthening families, empowering parents, and supporting professionals who work with vulnerable populations. Known for his engaging teaching style, he connected with audiences by using thought-provoking analogies and delivering lessons in ways that were simple, practical, and easy to apply in everyday life.
His message centered on compassion, understanding human behavior, and recognizing that every person seeks happiness and fulfillment. Through his work, he inspired many to approach life’s challenges with clarity, empathy, and resilience.
“If we understand the commonality for every human being is to find their own sense of happiness, it will position us in a place of understanding, creativity, and an eagerness to observe human behavior.”
— Michael Freeman
Today, SontarahLife Family Crisis Center continues to carry forward his vision, providing training, education, and support services designed to strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
